So
Adrian is helping me out on
my search for Plymouth Brethren blogs and at the same time he?s making a public call for New Frontier bloggers. Strangely, his near twin (Jollyblogger) came up with a
similar idea.
That weird symbiotic relationship is sometimes kinda freaky.

Plymouth Brethren Blogs. I can’t find any. I was thinking of starting a blogroll for them then quickly realized that the Closed Brethren probably wouldn’t be posting and the open…well I can’t find them.
It’s almost like I’m an only child.

We have a bunk-bed in Sy?s room with no mattress on the top
bunk. In its present state the top bunk has become storage space. Too high for
him to reach with no ladder we have been comfortably safe in putting the likes
of ?Hungry Hippo?, ?Don?t Break The Ice? and some books up there.
Today my wife, upon hearing giggling during his nap-time,
opens the door to his room to tell him to go to sleep. In his lap are several
books?from the top bunk.
After several hours, he finally revealed to me his much
coveted secret. Eagerly, he led me into his bedroom pointing how he was on the
bed and how he stood on the part of the bed where box-spring meets headboard?a two
inch space between the mattress and said board. Standing up and leaning on it
just so he demonstrates, he popped his toddler form up through the other side,
deftly twisted around and grabbed the books.
He explained that he ?tushed the pikshurs and took da books,
like this!? With pride he then said, ?I tushed everything!?
After my wife and I sternly warned him that he shouldn?t do
such a thing and ushered him out of his bedroom we covered our mouths and
cracked up.

Several brothers and sisters, including myself, have taken to asking the God-blogosphere to temper it?s tongue for the sake of public testimony and the body of Christ.
The author of
Ales Rarus has even made a
public request asking for Godbloggers to write a post petitioning others and themselves to evidence the fruits of the Spirit in their written words.
Then, all of a sudden,
Vox Apologia II comes out with a focus on digital salt. Go check out the well-written posts which give more dimension to the idea of being the Godblogosphere: Digital Salt in a Digital World.

Ales Rarus makes a
public request for all Godbloggers to
take a stand for our public testimony in the world wide web. He asks that you
write a post denouncing enmity, strife, jealousy and many of those things which
so easily best us.

Sozo
supplied a link in the
comments section
a little bit ago with a pretty good chart showing the differences of Covenant
Theology, New Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism. The
chart
doesn?t go into the differences in dispensationalism and even states as much
being very open to the fact that it is written from an NCT point of view. I do
have certain problems with the chart and the brother?s commentary.

Obviously, my son doesn?t fully understand the concept of a
baby sister. As the firstborn, he?ll learn real quickly when it does happen?but
for now he basks in the blissful state of ignorance and daddy-time.

As you know I like to put up my unformed studies to perhaps make it a stepping stone for other people’s research. So here it goes, a history of Samaria.

?Homeschool?, apparently, is a curse. Go ahead. Try it. Go
into a room full of parents sending their children to public or private school
and say ?I?m going to homeschool?. Appreciate the perked up ears and ominous
silence for a few moments while realizing that you?re in for a battle of
Lucasfilm proportions.

So the
results are in showing out of the visitors on this site
who decided to vote in the SF and F item poll, 18 of you (52.9%) would rather
own a lightsaber over any of the more docile items. This just goes to show you
that people like laser swords over flying brooms, skateboards or lizards.

This particular discussion was after the healing of a lame
man on the Sabbath. The Jews sought to kill Him because He worked on the
Sabbath and was making Himself equal to God.
Jesus goes on to make several claims which build upon one
another illustrating his actual equality with deity. This would mark Him as mad
but He's already performed tremendous miracles before them. His statements aren't
left empty, but he welcomes examination in light of the "witnesses". He makes
an appeal to evidence. I worked this post up, and only after
Rebecca pointed
out that Doug Groothius(Hat Tip:
Evangelical Outpost) did it already (and admittedly, much better than I
handled it:
Jesus, Philosopher and Apologist. P6) I feel compelled to submit
the research but with that one caveat.
