Prayer Monday 5: The Lord’s Prayer

Barring my faulty memory (and if I’m not lazy) I want to post prayers on Monday from all over Church History and then throughout the modern day, and then my own. This one comes from Our Lord Jesus Christ compiled from Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4.

Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be your name; your kingdom come, your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today (each day) our daily bread. Forgive us our debt as we forgive our debtors; forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the Evil One.
