Barring my faulty memory (and if I’m not lazy) I want to post prayers on Monday from all over Church History and then throughout the modern day, and then my own. But this one comes from me, in honor of mothers on Mother’s Day.
Blessed God,
Loving Father,
Eternal font of love;
We thank you for your blessings
That you pour from up above
We thank you for your wisdom
For your established plan
That in your love and mercy
You’ve placed us in our mother’s hand.
Our wives
Our daughters
Reflections of your grace;
We thank you for your blessings
Seen on their smiling face
We thank you for your mercy
For your established plan
That in your over-abundance
We get to hold their loving hands.
