Well, do. I mean we need to have a proper book excerpt. I already have been working on some connections (which have the eerie resonance of Worshiping on Mountains)

Thank you for your question Mr. Tilley. It was upon musing on the Old Testament usage of the Paddle Shovel, the smeared priest Jeshua, a matter of baking in Ezekiel and of course the issue of pelting in Nahum which weighed heavily on my mind resulting in laborious hours straining to find the connection. Subsequently Paul's usage of skubulon in connection with these previous ponderings wound up leading to my thesis found in the collaborative work "Towards a Theology of Elimination"

Thank you Char for the excellent review and of course the heavy load you carried and dropped on our first volume "Towards a Theology of Elimination". My stomach is a-flutter considering your forward for the third volume in this often untouched field of study.

Where were you sitting when you came up with this idea? I really don't want to know! Have you thought about writing about the paddle used in the Deuteronomy 23:12-13? I wonder if that verse is where the Canoe Paddle was invented from? Maybe I ought to post a query on Theologica and we could all discuss it! Andrew

You know [Dr.] Rey we really could come up with a theology of elimination. My particular talent is relating things to theology and especially the gospel. Just saying...

Hello Doctor.

I am wondering how you interact with the biblical material given in Dt 23? For example I am sure you must elucidate on the significance of always needing to carry digging equipment, the implications of it's covering and the possible metaphor for holiness we find in indoor plumbing. I am excited to see how you draw out the biblical text and expound on the excretal significance.

One also wonders then how pivotal might the prophetic work of Zechariah seeing the priest Jeshua covered in filth be for illumining our understanding of the use of excremental theology?

I am also curious to see how you have explored the imagery of Lamentations and elsewhere of excrement clinging to the skirts of a personified Jerusalem as metaphor for judgement. Though perhaps this more appropriately features in your second tome.

I know what you mean by funny. That it is funny that no theologian has made any strides in this field until right now.
