Almighty God, who on this day
\ndidst open the way of eternal life
\nto every race and nation
\nby the promised gift of thy Holy Spirit:
\nShed abroad this gift throughout the world
\nby the preaching of the Gospel,
\nthat it may reach to the ends of the earth;
\nthrough Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth
\nwith thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
\none God, for ever and ever.<\/p>\n
