Barring my faulty memory (and if I’m not lazy) I want to post prayers on Monday from all over Church History and then throughout the modern day, and then my own. This one was adapted by John Wesley and is in the Book of Offices of the British Methodist Church. It\u2019s a prayer that actually makes me nervous to pray so I placed the Amen in parenthesis not in some weird magical sense but just because.

\nPut me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
\nPut me to doing, put me to suffering.
\nLet me be employed for thee or laid aside for thee,
\nexalted for thee or brought low for thee.
\nLet me be full, let me be empty.
\nLet me have all things, let me have nothing.
\nI freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal.
\nAnd now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
\nthou art mine, and I am thine.
\nSo be it.
\nAnd the covenant which I have made on earth,
\nlet it be ratified in heaven.
