{"id":4868,"date":"2023-06-01T07:24:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-01T11:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biblearchive.com\/blog\/?p=4868"},"modified":"2023-03-28T13:28:52","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T17:28:52","slug":"knowing-that-our-triune-god-is-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblearchive.com\/blog\/knowing-that-our-triune-god-is-love\/","title":{"rendered":"Knowing that Our Triune God is Love"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of God\u2019s character and attributes <strong>perfectly and eternally exist<\/strong> none greater than the other. Yes, God is holy, light, and good; and yes, God\u2019s holiness is seen through His love and his love seen through his holiness. Yet, for us humans, created in God\u2019s image, made to exist in community<strong>, love is the attribute that so often resonates in our hearts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God, when inaugurating Christ to His mission, introduces the relationship as loving Father to obedient Son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matthew 3:17 \u201c<strong>This is my beloved Son<\/strong> in whom <strong>I am well pleased<\/strong>! Hear Him!\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus, when he clearly wanted to explain God, didn\u2019t refer to Him first as creator, king, judge, fire, or ruler\u2014all of which are true. Jesus perfectly reveals God as a loving father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Father loves the Son<\/strong> and shows Him all he does! (John 5:20)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Lord then showers us with this love when he prays to the Father:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Father\u2026in this relationship of I in the believers and they in me\u2026.the world will know that <strong>you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me<\/strong>! (John 17:24)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">John revels in this wonder writing, almost in amazing \u201c<strong>Look at the great love the Father poured out on us<\/strong>: that we should be called the sons of God!\u201d (1 John 3:1).
