Dispensing Links

Just in time for another peak into the World of ADD and see
what I've been seeing.

Cool site from this studious brother and father. Great
design and all his posts are seasoned with the salt I've mentioned before. He
disagrees with dispensationalist (haven't seen why yet) but I look forward to
his disagreement. If anything it will be done with kindness and wisdom.

Hey, I don't agree with a post-tribulation rapture either
but here's a research center in support of the idea.

Does the fact that I reach out to believers who adhere to
very different eschatological, hermeneutical and interpretive models make me a
neo (progressive) dispensationalist? Who knows, but you can read and find out.

If not that type of dispensationalist what type am I? Makes
me wonder which one Shane is going to disagree with. Good luck with the
research, Brother! The rest of you can start here

Curt re-dispensed this knowledge towards me, so I thought I'd
leave it here for you to use responsibly.

So yeah, this is beautiful and I think I'm going to have to dispense
with my current architecture and rebuild it as css only.

Geek link dosage, if you haven't had enough already: Who
wants to buy a castle? I do.

Brethren, Take Heed

Brothers and Sisters of the Christian Blogosphere, take heed
of your written words
. You and I have both seen professing believers, viciously
snapping at each other in defense of a doctrine or perspective. There are some
brothers and sisters out there with tremendous care and wisdom who have offered
open letters
to which I have linked to in various places yet it is a message
that bears repeating: Don't attack your brother for whom Christ died!

Friendly Debate

I've been enjoying a discussion on Penal Union versus Penal Substitution
over at Jeremy's (the Parable Man) site. They're playing on theological high
ground but simple questions aren't scorned and even adds to the very thrust of
the arguments on both sides. Perhaps you'd like to pitch in, but mind you, it's
not acidic in the least. These folks (Rebecca, Wink and Jeremy) are having an
honest, thought provoking discussion without stepping on each other's toes or
calling any names. Very enjoyable and you can read for yourself in these links.

Non-Systematic System of Study

I don’t do Systematic Bible Studying. Not that I can’t but when I sit down, pray about what I want to do and then study a topic, deducing the conclusion based on the overall whole of those verses and commentators?it leaves me nervous. I find that it leads to way too much proof-texting. Instead, I make up my own heretical study method.

Okay, maybe not heretical just not topical (which might sound like heresy, I know). Like studying everything about angels or demons or the nature of God or His attributes. I’ve done that and will do more of that, in fact this site is divided like that?but that’s not how I personally study anymore. So, here’s how a heretic studies. Sometimes.
