What have I been up to? Nothing besides running around with two kids and the third on his (or her?we’re not finding out the sex) way. Here’s Week 19 Sonogram.
Keep brother Tim in your prayers. He had a form of skin infection while on the road anway from friends and family but the Lord stood close.
Lawn work stinks. I enjoyed it the first few weeks in our new home; then I bore with it. Now it’s overwhelming. I’ve fought bugs, beetles and brown patches and now I’m ankle deep in the process of figuring out what a weed is: especially when they flower. They’re just so darn pretty. How am I supposed to tell what a real flower is if weeds have just as pretty flowers? I’ll get to nature’s theological (ecclesiological I guess) lesson after I explain myself a bit.
I don’t usually like dramatized audio Bibles. I like to follow the text and picture it in my head—be it the narrative, the poetry or the argument. But when I came across this upcoming audio Bible (HT: Lingamesh) I got absurdly excited. Samuel Jackson. Denzel Washington. Eartha Kitt! Some folk will raise the banner and call summon the jihad—it’s inevitable. Personally,
