I copied this directly from Wayne’s Geocities site just because I’ve had geocities in the past and lost a ton of stuff. It was such a great list of items that I want to be able to reference it easily and find it whenever I back up my db so I’m putting it here. Check his actual geocities site for updates. Once again, none of this is my work, but belongs firmly to Wayne Leman. Thank him heartily.

Okay, this is what I know. I know that the Bible sometimes gives us peeks into the supernatural while not making a huge deal of the event. Like, when an angel appears to Mary and tells her that God has chosen her for a specific role, the story doesn’t become a parable for angel worship. The announcement if anything stirs Mary to eventually proclaim an awesome praise of God. The angel (as Mary, by the way) fade into the background as Mary’s Son becomes exceedingly prominent (surely an understatement but I’m trying to highlight the emphasis). The angel has a comparitively minor role in the whole story.
Years ago someone from my old church handed me a Chick tract on the “true meaning†of Halloween; it scared me (and it scared Joe Carter—let him link to it). Mind you, I saw The Exorcist when I was eight and the Lord saved me two weeks later—even so, Chick scared me. But as I grew older I came to see that many of the things Chick said were not sound and with Halloween specifically I had to draw (sorry) my own conclusions. After all, if I was to be a husband and a father I would have to have some solid convictions to share with the family. So should a Christian observe Halloween?
The Voice completely changed Noah’s life. One moment he’s heading to market the next God is telling him that everything is about to die.
Genesis: Chapter Divisions
Wanted to put my arbitrary outline of the Book of Genesis with basic divisions. It’s mostly divided by thought flow (stories), patterns (repeated events) and a generic structural division based on Genealogies or Generations. I pray it’s useful
