Eager Anticipation: Russ on Calvinism
This will be a light posting weekend. This morning I’m in the hospital watching my daughter enter into the world. God willing, I’ll post baby-stats later in the day (if I’m up to it). So I’ll claim the RLTB (Real Life Trumps Blogging) card for the weekend. But come back Monday when I have guest blogger Pastor Russ, a Christian brother I met over at Tim’s site, who is going to be working on a Non-Calvinist series called TULIPS. His Monday post will focus on his view on Total Depravity. Can you say, “whetted appetite?” Links to each Post after the Jump.
Induction Day
This post has nothing to do with deduction versus induction. If you
will, it’s a prayer request as well as the anxious anticipation of a
man who knows that Friday is the day where labor will be induced.
Carnival Back at Dory’s
The Christian Carnival is up at Dory’s. Mr. Dumpling got into a car accident so keep him in your prayers.
I have to make some sort of amends for my post regarding the
tinted glasses on Ephesians. If anything, the humor sparked some serious
considerations on Ephesians chapter 2?one of which spurred by my brother in
Christ, Doug from Coffeeswirls. Together we embark on a look at Ephesians 2,
not to spark debate, but merely in an effort of learning and mutual
edification. Perhaps this will count as penance for my humor?mia culpa, mia
culpa, mia maxima culpa.
